July 5 "Wait Remaining Quiet and Patient" Psalm 108-114

This psalm is written to all those who think hard about what they see---about their friends and families living lives stirred up by God, observing the ways of life of those who fear God---and live like it. The commentary said we may see hypocrites in doctrine but never in the commandments. Only righteous gracious men observe the true commandments of God. 

Light arises in the darkness for you. Psalm 112:4. 
Wait for the Light. It will come! 
You will not be shaken forever. Psalm 112:6. 
No one can make a clean sweep of you. Those who cheat, well it is "evanescent" gains. Those with pretense, well they will wander. 

"Have no dread of evil tidings." Don't be alarmed when they do come. "Rumors and reports he despises...resign everything into the hands of God." Charles Spurgeon. #fixedhearts #neitherficklenorcoward. "You may change your plan but not the purpose of your soul." Spurgeon. 

A fixed heart is dependent only on God. Circumstances will affect us, for sure. Faith will make us firm in the midst. "And therefore, if the worst should come to the worst, he would remain quiet and patient, waiting for God." Amen.
