The people were more jealous of each other than they were of the neighboring tribes. Isn't it just the same today. We envy those in our group and applaud the neighbors. "Pride was at the bottom of this quarrel." Matthew Henry

Yet, they turned to the Lord and he led them in victory. We do not need our family and friends to respond a certain way to us in order for us to be free.
