February 20 "For the Love of Money" Numbers 21-22

The love of money was the root of the evil in his life.  Jude 11.
An angel with a drawn sword appears in his way, ready for a battle of words.
And Balaam falls face first but does he take ownership of what he has done?

Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes,
and he saw the angel of the Lord
standing in the road
with his sword drawn.
So he bowed low and fell facedown.
Numbers 22:31

Nine years ago, an angel stood in my road.
And a Gracious God intervened.
Set this life on an unknown trajectory.
Turned my life upside down, right side up.
May we put words to what we are doing in our world
that keeps us from following hard after Christ.

DEAR GOD, PLEASE CHANGE ME IN ONE OF MY 10,000 MOMENTS THIS YEAR:  And start with this crossroad in front of me.  Which path should I take?  What must I let go of this year?
