November 10 "Power, Not Words" I Corinthians 3, 4

Do we come across arrogant and know it not?
Paul said he will know, not the word of those who are arrogant, but the power.  I Cor 4:19.
What is the power that stirs within each of us?
It is the power of God that makes us stronger, comforted, kinder, established in this world.

"For God's Kingdom is not in word, but in power."  I Cor 4:20.
And "it is God's Spirit that lives in you."  I Cor 3:16.
How am I destroying this temple of God?
May we know Resurrection power.
Available to those sanctified.
By the Grace of God.
Inexhaustible.
Power.

COME BOLDLY:  Timeless Prayers
Father, May we know the Power of God in our lives today and always.  We often show little clarity of what is truly stirring within.  Nor are we willing to act upon it if it disrupts or disturbs.  Make us a people willing to live by Your Power.

By Your Power, you flung this world into existence.
By Your Power, you hold our lives together.
By Your Power, this day will you show us what is in our hearts.
Make us humble and holy people.
We are all so arrogant.
