July 16 "We Forget to Remember" Isaiah 13-17

"In that day man will look to his Maker, 

and his eyes will look on the Holy One of Israel. 

He will not look to the altars, the work of his hands,

and he will not look on what his own fingers have made.

COME BOLDLY:  Timeless Prayers

Oh Father, You are the God of all Grace, the Worker of all.

You have designed our days to bring us to the places we are.

May we count our afflictions as pure joy for they can take us to You.

We turn away from those idols, even good things, that part the sea between You and me.
