Don't be weary of God's reproof.
The Lord reproves those whom He loves.
Sickness. Trials. Testings. Temptations.
I'm in the midst of all four in huge ways.
Can we join in prayer for each other?
I've never had so many things happen in a 24-hour period: death, surgery, sickness, loss.
Matthew Henry puts it this way:
"Should the Lord visit us with trials and sickness, let us not forget that the exhortation speaks to us as to children, for our good. Bind them around your neck."
"My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the Lord reproves him whom he love as a father the son in whom he delights. Proverbs 3:7
Henry goes on to say that those "who know themselves" find a lack of understanding like a bruised broken reed. God will never break us beyond measure.

Write His Words on the tablet of your heart so you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. No bruised reeds here.
