Day and Night God's Eyes watch His Temple.
Never a Moment gone by that God was not hovering watching.
"There is no God like You, keeping covenant and showing steadfast love to your servants who walk before you with all their heart." I Kings 8:23.
This happened scores of years ago.
But Solomon is speaking to us today I Kings 8:57-58.
May The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us, that he may incline our hearts to him, to walk in all his ways and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his rules, which he commanded our fathers.
So, God, let these words of mine be near to You, our God, Day and Night.
COME BOLDLY: Timeless Prayers
Father, Let these words of mine, with which I have pleaded before the Lord, be near to the Lord our God day and night, and may he maintain the cause of his servant and the cause of his people, as each day requires, that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God; there is no other. Let your heart therefore be wholly true to the Lord our God, walking in his statutes and keeping his commandments, as at this day. I Kings 8:59-61
PHOTO: Night falls this night. Night and Day. God watches. Be near to Me, O Word of God, Night and Day.
Walked the Boardwalk tonight. First Time. Prompted to stop to speak with a girl. Off the trail. A biker, going too fast, couldn't navigate the turn and crashed right into me. We both went down. And we both popped right back up. Minor bruises. Whew!
ReplyDeleteSo thankful you weren't hurt! Thankful beyond words that your tumor markers were within normal. It is scary that we all have cancer cells in our bodies. Do have a praise this morning. Yesterday,my youngest grandchild who is 9, asked Jesus to come into his heart at VBS. He is such a sweetie. His mom is really not in his life at this point in time,so sad.Now all of my grandchildren have made professions of faith and now will be adding him to the list of praying for his growth in his walk with the Lord. Doing the happy dance. God does watch over us day and night, He never slumbers or sleeps, such a comforting thought.

Oh! Mary Lou!!! That precious boy. God is so good. And to hear that God drew him to Himself and what God has in store for that little life. How beautiful! You made me cry tonight. I just love hearing this. I'll be a grandmother for the first time in November. I cannot imagine what it is like but I think I'm going to think it is surreal! So happy for you. What good news!!!
