The woman in Mark 5:27 pressed into the crowd. Silently. As silent as I Kings 6:7 where "neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron was heard in the house while it was being built." Holy places in our lives. God moves silently here. He's moving toward You as you read this. Press in. In your silence.
Lest you think that Solomon is something in all of the glory of God and This House. The word of the Lord came to Solomon to make sure he knew that "concerning this house that you are building, you must walk in my ways and keep my commandments---THEN I will "establish My Word with you." I Kings 6:9 It has nothing to do with this ministry of building a house. It has everything to do with your obedient faith.
So. Walk in them! THEN I will dwell among you. Not because of a house but because of your heart.
COME BOLDLY: Timeless Prayers
Dear Father, We want to press into the crowd of people, plans, places in our lives and touch the hem of Your Garment. May we be far more concerned about walking in your ways rather than walking in our ministry.
PHOTO: Quarries Lake. It's the place I go to every day to pray. To press in. In Silence. To reach out for the hem.
Tried to do the Nuclear Medicine full body bone scan but had to pull out of it. Just cannot do it. And that's okay. Gave it the old college try. Going to an orthopedic doctor for a second opinion. Did have all the other scans and markers and x-rays and ultrasounds. I think it's all too much radiation. Way too much radiation.

ReplyDeleteI can sense Him right there with you. He is moving in your heart and life. He has gone before you and is coming behind you. He is holding you by His righteous right hand. I would come and hold it to if I lived in Austin. He is much better, but the offer is there from me. Holding it long distance.
