February 17 "Dry Bones Walk the Ocean Floor" Leviticus 14-15

Leviticus 15:31 - You shall die if you defile God's tabernacle.  He is a Holy God.  Serious Business of Heaven.  And we are no longer under law. We live under grace.

Yes! Ezekiel 27 - Dry Bones can be made alive in this new covenant.  Dry bones crossed this ocean, walked its floor. And most of them never really came to life, did they?

Fast Forwars to our dry bones. God crushed this curse into which we were born.  We can love and live alive to God and dead to sin. We are slaves to righteousness not sin. Either moving toward God or away from Him.  CS Lewis in The Weight of Glory calls it:  immortal horrors or everlasting splendors.

This debt of ours is paid. We defile the Tabernacle we live in every day. WAll the frays of our heart are  covered with a Blanket of Grace.

COME BOLDLY: Timeless Prayers
Father, make what is dead in our lives come alive. For Your Glory. May we name the sin, name what we are doing to defile these lives of ours. Thank You for the fresh brand-spanking-new Blanket of Grace over us this day, this circumstance.

PHOTO:  Stunned. Seared. Sent. The last message of Passion 2014. Thinking about how we can cross this Atlantic Ocean by walking its floor and not believe God.

  1. I love the photo today, and your comments as well. I have been renewed by learning to let go of things. Life is so rich and full, living with less material things and trusting in God. He always comes through in His perfect time. Last week started in the depths of despair. My husband was sick and very depressed, we were worried we would be sitting in the dark by the end of the week. (Literally). But, I had the confidence through faith that we needed to trust. Saints came forward anonymously from our church with a love loan and here we are in the light. Most importantly, to both of us, we are learning humility, faith, and trust in God when there seems to be no answer, God supplies our needs. We are so grateful for your prayers, dearest Pearls. I am so excited to see where God leads us. I know He is preparing the way for deeper service for Him.
On Thursday, I am flying out to Utah for a 10-day Nanny Job. It's funny, I haven't been able to spend much time with my grandchildren, and now God is opening doors for me to spend time with other children. These children don't know Jesus and I am praying seeds will be planted.
