What do you really think about all that is going on in your world? The fact that God does anything to keep on rescuing us is simply amazing. We are all unlovely at times, yet a Chosen Remnant, Chosen By Grace. Romans 11:5 No longer on the basis of works---it is not our serving, our good deeds, our sacrifice. Otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
“Keep justice, and do righteousness,
His Righteousness will be Revealed in you.
Blessed is the man who keeps his hand from any evil.
Hold Fast. Isaiah 56:2
Find rest on your bed. God's Peace.
And always ask
I wonder where my peace went?
Our God longs to give us rest.
He closes our eyes and lives every night.
We have no choice but to sleep.
But do we find this rest or know it not?
The thief steals and destroys at night.
Rest in peace in this current circumstance.
Chosen By Grace.
Once again, I'm so amazed at how our readings dovetail into one another to "finish" the story. Not just any story, though. OUR story. Because the Jews rejected the Christ, we Gentiles are grafted in.

besides those already gathered.”
Thankful for our root in Israel, and praying for opened eyes to the Savior for Jews and peace for Israel.
Grace is all that explains it, isn't it Bev. It was because of Israel's sin of disbelief that allowed Gentiles "in". God knew their hearts, as He does ours. We must grieve him so. This world is a mess, but for glorious Grace alone.
ReplyDeleteAs I have said before and sweet Ann Voskamp says over and over.."it's All grace"....salvation is a miracle.It is truly amazing grace that saves us all from those raised in the church to the adult who finally bows the knee in his forties, fifties or older. It is His infinite, marvelous grace that draws us and woos us. I say the words but I still don't really comprehend it, but boy do I believe it and accept it.
