The Lord is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him.
Nahum 1:7
Someone very close to me
Sent me this verse.
And today, that person
Needs it right back again
in their totally troubled Day.
Do we take Refuge in solving the issue?
Do we take Refuge in minimizing it?
Do we take Refuge in ignoring it?
Do we take Refuge in silence?
Do we take Refuge in Him?
We all face battles this day.
May God hear our voice!
Needing a sweet place of refuge today as we are busy, busy. Thankful for work, but tired.
ReplyDeleteLots of depressing news for Ninevah today, but we know they repented! Hope we can too, as a country, and starting with me.
Much courage as Paul stands before the Pharisees and Saducees. So like God to give Paul wisdom to befuddle the two to keep Paul safe, yet it didn't look very safe to Paul. As we close, he's in dire danger.
And not to be a white-washed wall, pretty and neat on the outside but filled with sin!
