Hosea 2:15 "Door of Hope" (October 6)

Sometimes, our lives do not turn out like we thought they would.  Between the lines of the Bible are stories that we do not know.  We simply cannot fill in the blanks between God telling Hosea to go and find a whore to marry.  Hosea dutifully obeyed.  But, what did he really think about this?  What do I really think about the predicaments God leaves me in.  Do I believe Hosea 2:15?  Maybe, God will make your valley a Door of Hope and betroth you to Himself forever.  There are two Great Divides in my life that I never thought I would live through.  They both were Doors of Hope where God made me more alive than ever, more attached to Him than any man on this earth.

God answered.
God redeemed.

  1. Oh, Bev your words stir within me things I do not know how to express.

God is so teaching me so many things right now that I can not digest them all nor put words to them.(imagine that...me with no words, ha, ha). Seriously, He has shown and is showing me things that in a way I wish I had known much sooner in my life. I suppose I had to be this old in order to understand or try to begin to comprehend all that He has and had for me. What a great God He is.
