Hosea 11:12 "Rain Righteousness" (October 8)

2,000 years ago, Paul wrote to me this Sabbath Day.
He had NO IDEA whom he would encourage when he penned the words:
May the God of Peace ~ Romans 15:33
May the God of Hope ~ Romans 15:33 ~
I need a God of Peace and Hope today, this 21st Century in time.
Be with us.
Fill us with all joy and peace in  believing
so that we may abound in Hope by Your Power.
Seems so many strive to make it happen.  You can have 25% more joy if you do this.  I'm in a quandary how that can happen.  How do we parse the power of God?  It is not by steps but line by line, little by little, the precepts and the power of God.

 ~ Sow for yourselves righteousness
 ~ Reap God's Steadfast Love
~ Break up your fallow ground
 ~ It is time
 ~ Seek the LORD
 ~ May He Come
 ~ Rain Righteounsess on us
~ Don't trust in your own way
~ Don't trust in the multitude of your warriors

  1. Can you imagine if this were all we said, as Paul:

"For I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to bring the Gentiles to obedience—by word and deed, by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God—so that from Jerusalem and all the way around to Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ"

I want to say (but can't in honesty) that I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ.

Make this our testimony, Lord. Make this our own story to proclaim.

  2. My friend, Jean in Virgina, shared this with me today--so good if you get a chance to listen:
