Rom 8:26 "Groanings Too Deep for Words" (September 28)

What would it really mean for me to learn to live groaning inwardly as well as waiting eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.

SPEECHLESS.  We have no idea what to pray for ourselves sometimes.
And in our very weakness, it is the Spirit of God Himself Who intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.   Romans 8:26

AWESTRUCK.  All things work together for good for those who are called according to His Purpose not our own.  Romans 8:28

UNDONE.  What can we say to these things?  If God is for us, Who can be against us?  Romans 8:31

GRASPED.  What can separate us from the Love of God?  Tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or sword ... NOR death, nor life, nor rulers, nor present things, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation.  What does that not cover?  Romans 8:38

  1. Nearly 150 years before Cyrus was born, Isaiah wrote this, given the vision from God. In the passage, he calls Cyrus by name and tells of his great deeds. God equipped Cyrus, though Cyrus did not serve him so that others would know that it was God who was shepherding Israel.

Then God says something that is worth noting further:
“Ask me of things to come; will you command me concerning my children and the work of my hands?"

Why do I struggle with not knowing or with trying to command my own life? The One Who is from everlasting to everlasting who formed the earth and all that is within it surely knows the outcome. Submit to this Goodness and walk in His way. He will not steer us wrongly. He knows it ends well. He knows. So we can ask and walk with His direction over the big and small aspects of our lives.

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."

"For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

  2. Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?

I read today's promise and I know God has all of us in his Hands. Today, I am tired, weary of the struggle to stay afloat. Please pray for me today.
    Love you, Pearls.

  5. This is concerning her seizures and brain EEG. She has a benign tumor on her frontal lobe. I'm praying it is gone.

  6. Saying a prayer right now, Jan.
I'm sitting in the docs office w Lauren and just prayed and agreed that He gets all the glory no matter what. But I'm praying for a miracle. His love covers us. Please pray with me for her healing.

  7. Praying for Jan, Lauren and Annette and Bev. NOTHING can separate us from the love of God. He will fulfill His purposes for our lives. He heard your groanings for your loved ones...what a comfort to know that He fills the gaps when we do not have the words.

  10. Thanks, Mary Lou and Bev. We won't know the results until next week, but I think Lauren is unnerved by it. I'll post when I know something more.
