Read with me cover-to-cover in 2025. Start the Old & New Testaments together on January 1. About 3 chapters per day. About 15 minutes of your day. Join us as the axe of Biblical Love thaws the frozen parts (66LL) in our hearts. My focus in 2025 is counseling yourself from the Word. We average 60,000 thoughts per day. Take courage. Talk to yourself from Truth. I am more emotional and pensive and overly-sensitive than most. I need to know how to truly live.

Isa 54:10 "Mountains Move. God's Word Falls." (October 1)
We don't know what is implied in the verses of the Bible stories like those who lived in that day knew what was actually going on. So we study to find the implied meaning. We've seen some movies, read some books---we know how the Jesus film ends, how the Greatest Story Ever Told ends...they did not know. So, when they read Isa 54:5, they hear a calling from a Redeemer. Their Maker, and yours, wants to be their Husband. For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed. "Mountains" also refers in this passage to great men. Friends may fail us. Circumstances may head south. But, God's Steadfast Love shall never depart from us. His Covenant of Peace shall not be removed. Isa 54:10. Promise, O afflicted one, storm-tossed, not comforted. God is moving in your life, no matter what is happening. Oh, and one more promise. Your children shall be taught by the LORD Isa 54:13 and great shall be their peace. Promise. How does all this work when what we see doesn't match up? God is still at work, dear one. "God's Word that goes out from His Mouth, does not return to Him empty, but it shall accomplish that which He purposes." God is moving on your behalf and behalf of your children, even if you do not see it this day. What would it look like today to walk into our darkness holding on to His Word? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart." Romans 10:9

Isaiah 53 is The Promise. Your redemption draws nigh.
ReplyDeleteJesus, the Lamb without sin, will wear your sin, and by His wounds, you are healed.
Whom should we pray for this day to call to God for salvation? Who do you know that needs to hear this news? Who can you share this news with today?
"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
I know several loved ones that need Romans 10:9-13. Please pray with me for the courage to share this Gospel of life.
Thank-you, Bev, for the sweet reminder. I will cling to the promise today.
