Eph 4:7 "Measured Grace" (September 16)

Paul was gripped by the Holy Spirit.  He knew what this church family needed.  How could he have known 2,000 years down the Ephesus road that we needed unity too!  Paul urges us to walk worthy of our calling with humility.  Accept with much patience the oversights of others.  Happens every day, doesn't it?  Our husbands "miss" us, our children do, our world does.  Do we work harder to be nicer or do we truly bear with one another in love by counting others better than ourselves?  I am currently in a very awkward serious situation.  Do I realize that the only one I can change is me---we are prisoners to a cause greater than anything we face.  Chained to the Chariot.  We are called people this day, this hour.  We Walk Worthy only by Measured Grace ~ Ephesians 4:7.

  1. "so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes."

I didn't realize until yesterday how I've lost my Faith since I lost my mom almost 2 years ago and my brother last November. I was just being "tossed to and fro" instead of grounded in Faith. It seems I've gone back to my "old self" and have "given in to deceitful desires." I tried to get healing in all of the wrong ways. I'm so grateful for the understanding and that it's a new day!

    In Christ Alone,
    xoxo
