Eph 2:14 "Holy One is in Our Midst" (September 14)

Isaiah 11:3 - He will not judge by what His Eyes see, His ears hear.  No, He will judge by righteousness.  God knows exactly what we are going through.  People may "miss" me by miles but God's justice will be right on time.  The Holy One is in our midst! Isaiah 12:6  Even when we were dead, He made us alive---all by Grace.  Even those parts of us that are dead this day, He gives Grace.  Immeasurable Riches of Grace.  Nothing we can work for today---pure Gift of Grace.  This Wonderful Counselor---He Himself is our Peace. Eph 2:14.

  1. So many familiar, favorite verses in the Ephesians reading, but one stands out this day for which I am so thankful--

the dividing wall of hostility 15 by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, 16 and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.

The hostile wall that divided us from Him-- in our sins the list of commandments that condemned us was abolished by Jesus making peace, becoming our atonement, justifying us with His Blood, by Grace.

All by Grace, all by His Work for us, He bridged heaven and earth and removed the dividing wall of hostility.

  2. Ephesians 2:8-10 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
