I Cor 7:29 "Time Is Short" (August 12)

I Cor 7:29 This is what I mean, brothers and sisters: the appointed time has grown very short.

FROM NOW ON...let those who have wives live as though they had none, and those who mourn as though they were not mourning, and those who rejoice as though they were not rejoicing, and those who buy as though they had no goods, and those who deal with the world as though they had no dealings with it. For the present form of this world is passing away.  I want you to be free from anxieties... I say this for your own benefit, not to lay any restraint upon you, but to promote good order and to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord.

What would that look like?  I don't know and neither do you.  All we do know is that our time here has grown very short.  What will we do with what is left?  What will we do with what we have?

Will we continue to live in distance from those we love?
Will we continue to distance our thoughts from our reality?
Will we continue to walk today as though this world is all we have?
Will we continue to pretend that everything is fine when our world is falling apart?
Our flesh longs for something "to do" to make this world right, make our souls right.
From now on...fight with all the Energy within to become alive in this appointed day called today.
