*The Golden Bowls are Full* Revelation 5:8 ~ And the elders fell before Him holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. Will The Mighty One hear from me this day prayers of dependence, prayers of worship.
*The Sovereign One Bends His Ear * Revelation 4:12 ~ Will the Sovereign One hear "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing."
Finding the Lamb worthy to open the scrolls, they sang a new song. We can sing that new song with the angels because of Jesus. He is worthy of our praise.
ReplyDeleteFor the last few days I hit a couple of these verses and know songs that go with the words and I can't help but sing them as I come to them, still reading and singing out loud.
Here is one of the songs if you care to join me.
This is a hard time of year if you are struggling (and we all are in some way.) Who has a prayer request that we can lift together before this magnificent Throne of Mercy?Let's pray for each other:
Lord, I lift up each person who stops by here that You may touch her (his) heart during this season of Your Son's humble birth. From a wooden crib to a wooden cross, You built a Bridge of Love straight to Heaven. Humble us to stop and be grateful for all the ways You take care of us and help us to faithfully walk on that Bridge to You. We need You more than ever in our busy and mindless lives. And we fearfully and wonderfully await Your return in all Your Glory. In the Blessed Name of Jesus, Amen.
Annette, you have a beautiful sense of awe about God. Touches deep places in me.
ReplyDeletePrayer Request:
ReplyDeleteI have been staring at this blank comment way too long. Where do I even start?
Future uncertain
Prognosis unavailable
Change unpredictable
I'm in the dark over here.
Grasping for His Hand.
When you walk in the dark
and have no light
Trust only in the Name.
Nothing mystical.
Dealing with deeper repentance.
God has been faithful to me
and will be.
Appreciate your prayers.
Love you all!
In awe is the perfect way to describe how I have felt as we share in John's Revelation. Bev, you seem to go from one valiant battle to the next-not asking for physical healing but asking for more of Him. It is our hearts' desire to be physical healed and yet we know He wants our souls strong for Him. He certainly cares about ALL of our well-being, and He is right with you every step, Bev. May prayer for you is found in the aspects of God that He would bestow Himself upon you blessing and honor, glory and power, riches and wisdom and strength be unto you, Bev, in the Mighty Name of Jesus, our Redeemer. Amen.
ReplyDeleteBev, when you can't see His face, trust His heart. Praying..
