Titus 4:14 "Devote Self to Good Works" (November 2)

Paul's last words to Titus in Titus 4:14:  Let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful.  What am I devoted to?  Recognition of Strong Men & Women or Serving Behind Closed Door? Success in the Ministry or a Real Relationship with Christ?

  1. "But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

New mercies each day--I'm in need of the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit on my life. Love the fresh start He alone offers. I'm asking for eyes to see every blessing this day for each of us.

Missed you all! We had a great girls' trip, saw old college friends, and my dear friend, Jean Myers while in Virginia. Such sweet place of fellowship...

    Challenge:

Find a way to put this scripture into action this week.

If money is low, write a note to someone who has blessed you or encouraged you.

Donate baby food to a local food ministry that gives out food for those in need.

Make a pot of soup for a family going through a difficult time.

Make a donation of pet food to the animal shelter.

Call someone who lost a loved one recently and let them know you care...pray for them outloud over the phone if you dare...

    Wash your husband's vehicle.

DEVOTE yourself to good works...meeting URGENT needs.
