Read with me cover-to-cover in 2025. Start the Old & New Testaments together on January 1. About 3 chapters per day. About 15 minutes of your day. Join us as the axe of Biblical Love thaws the frozen parts (66LL) in our hearts. My focus in 2025 is counseling yourself from the Word. We average 60,000 thoughts per day. Take courage. Talk to yourself from Truth. I am more emotional and pensive and overly-sensitive than most. I need to know how to truly live.

Hebrews 13:20 "May the God of Peace Equip You" (November 18)
Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21

My sweet friend Sally had a MRI and scan yesterday and the results were ALL CLEAR. She will have to have them every eight to twelve weeks since she is diagnosed in stage four of cancer. Her headaches have not completely stopped and her mother had told me that that bothered all of them, since the headaches had been so bad and then they found the liesons all in her brain....Praise God she is clear at this point of time. She had asked for prayer for peace for she was fearful of the MRI and scan. She had not been able to have a scan because of the reconstructive surgery and metal things that are there after that surgery, Sorry to be so long winded. He did meet her of course yesterday..they let her husband hold on to her ankle while she was in the MRI machine. That to me is the same as Him holding her by His right hand. Praising God and doing the happy dance. We just had a young mother in church, with three small children to die from breast cancer, so this is good news.
ReplyDeleteTo God be the glory!!
Aw! Mary Lou, I can picture her husband holding her ankles. They would just let my husband look from the other side of the room so that was really dear that they let him in so close. MRI's are just hard to sit through. So excited to hear her good news. Our sweet little senior in high school got a good report after chemo that she was a first responder with 71% shrinkage. Some people are going through some really hard times right now!
ReplyDeleteHe is mightily at work! Praising in the storms...you both are so faithful and inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI had a colonoscopy yesterday and all went well but they're sending two of the four polyps to biopsy so I would appreciate prayers. So glad I didn't put this off. If you haven't had one and are fifty+, you can prevent cancer by up to 90 percent by having regular colonoscopies. Okay that's my public service announcement for today.
May the God of Peace continue to equip you!
