because of Him
Who gives you
Strength ~
Surreal
Splendid
Surrender
Speechless.
I wish I knew how to adquately express what these verses mean to me today. Let me just say...I praise God for helping me recognize how blessed I am when my human side wants to focus on what has been taken away.
Rejoice in the Lord always. Be anxious for nothing... Paul is an amazing roll model.
Praise God for His Word and for this String of Pearls Community.
How hard it is to be thankful in all things, not for all things, nor being thankful for the hard things, just simply to be thankful. Reading 1000 Gifts and writing my praise journal has truly, truly opened my eyes. I am now over a thousand and will continue on, to list the "things" that I am thankful for. I do my best to listen the hard and unpleasant things too. What a beautiful reminder in these verses.
Also, I have to say something about v13...I can do ALL things through Christ which strengthens me. How I've clung to this verse so many times. He does and will give us strength just when we need it, not a minute before and not a minute too late.
