Phil 3: 10 ~ that I may KNOW Him and the power of his resurrection
Phil 3:14 ~ that I may PRESS ON toward the goal for the prize of the call of God
Phil 3:15 ~ that I may THINK rightly and if in anything I am wrong, God will reveal that to you.
Phil 3: 20 ~ that I REMEMBER that my citizenship is in heaven
God is taking care of me and you. As we know Him, it's His Power that is released through us and that's the only way we can press on with any degree of certainty and purpose. And if there is anything we are doing that is of a different attitude than Christ, He will reveal it to us---we just need to be listening well.
I have an opportunity this morning. (I do every morning.) To Rejoice in the Lord. (I'm not feeling it today, Lord, but a move or two in the right direction could prove otherwise.) To Know Him. (Turn my heart toward You, Lord!) To Press On toward the Goal of Christ. (Sustain me when I am tired even in the morning.) To Think Rightly. (Reverse my negativity and restore my joy in You alone.) To Remember and Be Grateful. (I have everything I need to walk through the day ahead because You are with me.)
