II Cor 7:5 says
No Rest.
Afflicted at Every Turn.
Fighting without and Fear within.
II Cor 7:6 says
But God,
Who comforts the Downcast,
Comforted us by the coming of Titus.
Do you feel as though you are afflicted today?
No rest! Downcast? Need some comfort?
Your God is waiting to comfort the Downcast.
Then, He will send you ...
I'm so glad Paul recorded these verses. Even when he and his team had done nothing wrong, they were persecuted, afflicted. Our struggles are not with flesh and blood, but there is a war in the heavenlies going on that we don't begin to understand.
