2 Corinthians 3:2-3 You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all. And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
A letter from Christ delivered right on time. Written by the Spirit of the Living God. It's not about becoming better.
C. S. Lewis wrote: No man knows how bad he is until he has tried very hard to be good. That's just a bunch of rules to keep. Oh, Holy Spirit COME and breathe a fire into all of us.
Before the sun came up, I drove over my $600 eyeglasses. At least they were not on my face.
ReplyDelete17Now the Lord[e] is the Spirit, and where(AB) the Spirit of the Lord is, there is(AC) freedom. 18And we all, with unveiled face,(AD) beholding(AE) the glory of the Lord,[f](AF) are being transformed into the same image(AG) from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
ReplyDeleteThis verse spoke to me. "Where the Spirit of the LORD is there is Freedom." Bev, I am so grateful that your glasses were not on your face when you drove over them. The fact that you can see to drive without your glasses is a blessing. That still does not provide the dollars to replace the glasses but you are living proof that in God's amazing grace and mercy somehow, someway He will be your Jehovah Jireh in His appointed time.
Blessings to you for being transparent one more time with this Pearl. I love you and am praying God's Grace as you discover His Path today.
This is a Song I must Sing, Sylvia
Bev, sorry to hear about the glasses. I pray you will receive a new pair today. Your life is a testimony of faith lived and grace received. You are loved abundantly by all of the pearls. Thank you for including us in your sweet heart.
ReplyDeleteOh, Bev! I would be so blind without my contacts! Lord, by Your Spirit lead Bev to her new glasses, please.
ReplyDeleteUnveiled, we behold Him. Paul had been blinded by Him on the road to Damascus. He gives us eyes to see Him as the Spirit reveals and transforms us into His image.
Bev, all I can think of is how blind we all are without the Spirit of the Lord opening our eyes to see.
