I Cor 15:58 ~
Therefore, my beloved brothers,
Be steadfast, immovable,
Always abounding in the work of the Lord,
Knowing that in the LORD your labor is not in vain.
If we could see what our labor is producing,
If we could see what is going on all around us,
oh the Hope that we would hold onto.
Hold Fast to Him, the God of all Hope.
"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain."
ReplyDeletePearls, be STEADFAST!
Pearls, be IMMOVABLE!
Pearls, ALWAYS abound in the Lord's work!
Pearls, KNOW that IN THE LORD your labor is NOT in vain!
Football players have a team to cheer them on to victory. Faithful friends and family join in the cheers.
In the end, the winners celebrate together with shouts of praise and fist pumps.
We cheer each other on...physically battling a spiritual aggressor.
IN THE LORD...by the Spirit...we do not labor in vain!
Cheer someone on to victory this week, pearls!
Cheering each other on!
ReplyDeleteI've recently started taking golf lessons. I am really bad at it, started out not even knowing if I was left or right-handed. But I love the lessons and I finally figured out why. I should be embarrassed for the reason, but I think it's important enough to pass on. I realized the reason I like the lessons so much is due to the instructor saying, "Goooo-oood, Annette!" I leave there feeling good even if I didn't play that well. I tried, and that was enough. Sometimes, we all need a little encouragement, and today's reading is some serious encouragement in the Lord.
Can each of you hear the Lord say to you this day, "Goo-ood, _______?" Read Bev's words and Deborah's comments slowly and let them sink in. Then, turn it around, and give God some praise! To God be the glory!
It's an honor to be on your team, girls! I have watched the ending of Rocky 2 several times these past couple of days. I'm listening to the soundtrack again right now. My husband just said, "Oh no, again? When will this be done?" Not yet! Listen to it if you have a minute! I told my kids I want it played at my funeral. I think it's the perfect song! I linked up to the ending on my blog the other day. :)
ReplyDeleteTraining is hard, but so worth it! Whoa!
Love you guys,
Angie
