Gal 1: 9, 10 - "Consult No Man" (September 22)

In Galatians 1:17-18 Paul says that when God opened Paul's heart, Paul immediately didn't consult with any man.  He didn't even go to Jerusalem to find the apostles he knew well to ask for their help.  No, he went into the desert----some say for 3 years.  That so stirs me to go to God will all of my problems.  Am I looking for the experts or what's eternal.

For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.  Gal. 1:9-10

  1. Am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? If man, I'm not a servant of Christ.

I must continually ask this question. It is a trap I frequently fall into. Wish I didn't care. Wish I cared more. Hmm...
