Read with me cover-to-cover in 2026. Start the Old & New Testaments together on January 1. About 3 chapters per day. About 15 minutes of your day. Join us as the axe of Biblical Love thaws the frozen parts (66LL) in our hearts. My focus in 2026 is counseling yourself from the Word. We average 60,000 thoughts per day. Take courage. Talk to yourself from Truth. I am more emotional and pensive and overly-sensitive than most. I need to know how to truly live.

Acts 23:29 "False Religious Principles" (July 22)
Acts 23:29 ~ Paul was accused because of questions about the law. You don't expect within the four walls of the church to be ridiculed and hated and beaten and judged severely for following Christ. The Saducees followed false religious principles. Hard to believe how hateful they could be holding on to ideas guarded by men. Never dreamed that your opposition would come from church members but it did, it still does. What will we do with it for there are no churches or church people who do it right. May we be more concerned about what is going on inside of our own hearts than what is going on inside of the church walls. When we stand before Him at the last judgment, we will be asked about what we did----not what our parents, our children, our ministers, our friends did. We may be a product of our home life but what stirs in your heart this day either leads you into the direction of holiness or destruction.

Acts 23:1 "Now the son of Paul’s sister heard of their ambush, so he went and entered(A) the barracks and told Paul."
ReplyDeleteChurches can let us down, but usually there are good people willing to help. Paul's nephew was willing to go that extra mile to warn him of danger. I have been challenged lately, by my willingness to help in unexpected ways. If I truly love others as He loves me, I need to be available, willing, giving and loving.
I loved what you just said Jan!
