Read with me cover-to-cover in 2026. Start the Old & New Testaments together on January 1. About 3 chapters per day. About 15 minutes of your day. Join us as the axe of Biblical Love thaws the frozen parts (66LL) in our hearts. My focus in 2026 is counseling yourself from the Word. We average 60,000 thoughts per day. Take courage. Talk to yourself from Truth. I am more emotional and pensive and overly-sensitive than most. I need to know how to truly live.

Acts 22:7 "Framed by an Act of God" (July 20)
Acts 22:7 Saul tells his story. "Who are you, LORD?" I am Jesus Whom you are persecuting. Saul thought he was doing the right things for the sake of religion. A prideful, pharasaical, preacher of not-so-good news. Persecution. Darkness. Horror. Now, Paul was the one on the ground, laid low. Framed by God for the purpose of obedience. Wonder how we are being framed by God through the "shame of exposure and appeal of wisdom" as it says in 66 LL. Once high and mighty, head above the crowd, now Paul is visually brought down so he could hear Christ's Voice. He would have never verbally despised God nor refused any vision from a holy God. But he was really messed up in prideful pursuits building his own kingdom, not God's. When we do anything to our loved ones, we are stepping on the toes of God. Against you and You only, have I sinned, wrote David. Struck blind not by darkness but by light, Paul sees for the first time that he is a sinner. Delivered from the domain of darkness and transferred into the kingdom of light. An act of God! Framed to see his dark heart. Willingly surrendered...what must I do? Wonder how God is framing our lives for His Glory?

27So the tribune came and said to him, "Tell me, are you a Roman citizen?" And he said, "Yes." 28The tribune answered, "I bought this citizenship for a large sum." Paul said, "But I am a citizen by birth." 29So those who were about to examine him withdrew from him immediately, and the tribune also was afraid, for he realized that Paul was a Roman citizen and that he had bound him.
ReplyDeleteOne minute Paul is condemned by his Jewish roots.
The next minute, Paul is let go because of his Roman citizenship by birth.
Who in the world was a more perfect apostle to the Gentiles than this Roman Jew, Paul.
God is so brilliant in the way He works. What a testimony this very learned Jew had for the grace of Jesus Christ!
What in the world has God brought into our lives that makes us the perfect witness of His grace and lordship?
Don't let comfort keep you out of His place of ministry He has called you to experience.
Don't let fear keep you out of His place of ministry He has called you to experience.
Don't let your own self-condemnation keep you out of His place of ministry He has called you to experience.
You were created with purpose.
Your testimony can touch someone for eternity.
We may not understand, but God had it all worked out in His plan.
It is HIStory.
