Read with me cover-to-cover in 2026. Start the Old & New Testaments together on January 1. About 3 chapters per day. About 15 minutes of your day. Join us as the axe of Biblical Love thaws the frozen parts (66LL) in our hearts. My focus in 2026 is counseling yourself from the Word. We average 60,000 thoughts per day. Take courage. Talk to yourself from Truth. I am more emotional and pensive and overly-sensitive than most. I need to know how to truly live.

John 3:30 "Loved Darkness Rather than Light" (May 13)
John 3:19 "Light has come into the world and people loved the darkness rather than the Light because their works were evil." Lovers of darkness. Lovers of themselves. John 3:30 says: "He must increase but I must decrease." Oh Light of the World, expose our dark corners and shine your Searchlight where it has been oh-so-dark. What do we want more than the Light? Why do we not crawl out of our darkness on our belly, on our face? Why do I stay there. God, you're so good. Would you shine enough Light for us to take just the very next step to escape the trouble we are in.

Blogger was down for some kind of maintenance thing. I tried to get on throughout the day yesterday. Sorry for the inconvenience. We're back on again.
ReplyDeleteI echo your prayer, Bev...I am in agreement with it 100 percent....
ReplyDeleteThe Light of the World is the Light of our hearts. I kept popping back on here yesterday but saw where blogger was down. It truly is the best start to my day to be here thinking about one thing holy to take into my day, to just sit in His presence and light up those dark places in my heart.
ReplyDeleteI was reading in James a few days ago and came to the conclusion unanswered prayer was due to either wrong motives or not asking at all (chapter 4) It takes some time to expose wrong motives but His Light is first of all, cleansing, pure and loving, and He will set us back on the right track. All we have to do is come to Him with our mess and lay it out before Him. He is faithful to answer.
