115 - "Interpreting Life Today in Light of Tomorrow---Thus Far!" 1 Samuel 7-9; Luke 18:24-43

When things invade your territory.  When people infringe upon your rights.  When situations intersect life's plans.  This is our mantra.  Praying for each of you this day that it will always be about "thus far."  “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” I Samuel 7:12.

All who follow Jesus, will never lose out. No one. Now one who has sacrificed home, spouse, siblings, parents, kids---whatever---it will be multiplied back many times over in your lifetime and then the bonus of eternal life. Luke 18:29-30.

They turned aside
after dishonest gain and accepted bribes and perverted justice."  I Samuel 8:3.  It's plain to see the evil when it's blatant and disgusting.  But what about when Satan comes as an "angel of light."  And, we don't see the evil in our own motives and actions and ploys.  So, what's the point? Do we accept the Word of God as from God or men?  1 Thes 2:13.  We must interpret the evil that is happening in our lives in Light of what will happen when Christ returns.  Is this how we want to live?  Nodding at bribes.  A little dishonest weight on the scale.  May we live ready for the God Who is coming who will ask us the ultimate question about life.
