Oh, Eternal Word of God!
The Living Word!
Numbers 7:4 ~ He Who spoke to Moses was the "Eternal Word," the Second Person of the Trinity, the Living Word, the Word made flesh for you and for me. Matthew Henry wrote that we must be aware of the sin-offering in the midst of celebration: "As, in our best services, we are conscious that there is sin, there should be repentance, even in our most joyful services. In all approaches to God we must by faith look to Christ as the Sin-offering." There is something amiss down deep inside of each one of us. Praise God He has taken care of it! PRAYER FROM THE PSALMS
Psalm 119:89 Your Eternal Word, O LORD, stands firm in heaven. Your faithfulness extends to every generation, as enduring as the earth you created. You are the Eternal Word. May your words sink deep truth into our sin-sick hearts, this day, forevermore. Psalm 51:6.

Happy Valentines Day to all of the Pearls. You all show God's love each time you write. You show the rest of the world the truth...You shall know them by their love for one another. You also show the world how much you love Him, who gave His ALL for us, no greater love than this...He stretched out His arms and died...for you and for me. Praise His holy name.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Mary Lou. Amen and amen!
DeleteAmen. May His words sink deep truth into our sin-sick hearts.
ReplyDeleteThat Our Savior Jesus was the part of the Trinity Who spoke in Numbers 7:4 to Moses on the direction of the tabernacle gives me chills. Jesus overseeing the sacrifices brought forth in the ttabernacle is one of those moments that seems so obvious once it's pointed out, but never occurred to me. He would oversee the sacrifices made because He was the One appointed from the foundation of the world to be slain on our behalf, our Eternal Sacrifice. He would want the offerings made to be holy. He would want them to be atoning. He would want it to satisfy His Father.
Bev, you bring such good insights to this place. Thanks once again for letting God use you so sweetly.
Happy Valentine's Day! He loves you so, Pearls.
Thank you for the amazing picture today. I am so drawn into it because I see similar colors in my mind and I always imagined there must be amazing colors in space to color our world, make rainbows, and make the snowflakes glisten with a kaleidiscope of colors. God plans every detail of our lives, loves beauty, and allows us brief glimpses into His glory.
ReplyDeleteMike and I have been caught up in what we have not, forgetting what we have all around us. God has already sent us the best Valentine ever, His Heart, His son.
It is a supernova, a mega star that crashed, taken by a satellite and given to the Smithsonian, no copyright. Our galaxy is simply amazing. Our God keeps it all going right. Tomorrow's reading really hits me about living life with what I do not have. Love your hearts!
Delete12 days of tribes giving and then Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim, so He spoke to him. It takes my breath away thinking about Moses conversing with Him.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day ladies. May be be vessels of His love this day.
Happy Valentine's Day to each of you! May you be touched by His Presence in the midst of your own sin and suffering and love. Sober us all, O God for the things that really matter, not if we get what we want or don't want.
