300 - "Sin, Like The Win, Takes Me Away" Isaiah 65-66

My mountains quaked this weekend.

Isaiah 65:17 says that there will be a new heaven and a new earth and all these things, these former things will not come to mind.  But for now, I wrestle with how I got to this place where I am in life.  There are parts of me that hold so much hope for whatever lies ahead.  Yet, I wrestle with what I see of who I am and who I hope to be.  "Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains might quake at Your presence."  Isaiah 64:1.  I need Him so.  And I bow in deep gratitude that no ear has heard nor has the eye seen a God besides You Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him. Isaiah 64:4.  Our sin, like the wind, takes us away.  Isaiah 64:7.  "But Now, O LORD, You are our Father.  We are the clay, You our Potter; and all of us are the Work of Your Hand."  Isaiah 64:8.  Help me to accept what no one is offering; the apologies that do not exist; the distance that creeps in day by day surreptitiously; the lack of validation; the feeling of being left in the middle of the road to die.  Thank you God for forgiving me for wrong attachments to living for this world.  Position each of us where new attachment is possible.  Impassion us all to desire first things first.  Empower me this lonely day to abandon myself to One Holy Passion.

PRAYER FROM PSALMS
Psalm 32:1 - Blessed, O God, are all of us because You have covered our sins.  All our sins are forgiven, past present future.  All covered.  All Powerful Benevolent God.  We thank Thee!
