“Moral Purity V. Right Relationship” Psalm 66-67; Romans 7

God has “kept us among the living” and “did not let our feet slip” into death. The Giver if Life. He us always bringing us from death to life. The main message of the psalm is that the psalmist cried out to God and God moved. Psa 66:19. These words refer not to moral purity. Rather, the words claim right relationship with God. Psalm 66 presents sacrifice as a way to make faith live. All of life is to be given in response to God. From sacrifices to rituals, there are formal expressions of gratitude to the grace of God.
