God is not the delivery man nor the traffic cop nor our kindly grandfather. Yet Job's friends reduced him to size---reduced the role of God to fit their answers. You see, suffering with definition and explanation gives you control---a false hope of control. Suffering with no definition, no explanation, is where we find our faith in God.
