"Faces to The Ground in Worship" 2 Chronicles 7-9; John 11:1-29

I

\When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground and they worshiped and gave thanks. 2 Chronicles 7:1.

The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang:

“He is good;
his love endures forever.”

Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.

And what if we saw that kind of glory on this earth this day.  May we seek the Glory.  May the Glory fill the heartaches and holes and happy parts of our souls.  God is always God.  It's my perspective that needs to be re-directed to another kingdom.  Come, Glory!

PHOTO:  It's the ceiling of a place I visit in Austin that boasts the most visitors. Blair works here quite a bit. The Capitol building. The acoustics are phenom.  And I can't imagine the trumpets and trinkets and singers and sound that raised the roof in Glory!  And that's what we will have for the rest of our lives~
