"Treat Your Hometown Well" Judges 1-3; Luke 4:1-32

Jesus reminds the townspeople: Jesus didn't cleanse the lepers, only Naaman. God didn't send food in Israel's severe famine, only a widow was paid a visit by Elijah. Luke 4:23. Yes, He is anointed for the sick, the troubled. And the people He stares in the eyes may want him for their own dilemma. And they may want Him to say, "Physician, heal yourself." This is your hometown, "do it here," treat it kindly---He walked away knowing their needs. They were furious. I wonder why.  I wonder why we all get furious when God leaves things alone. Is it in our interpretation of life?  Jesus was well liked, growing in favor with God and man, until He exposes hearts---theirs and yours and mine. No material thing on this earth is worth Him.  He is our Supreme Treasure.  Knowing Him, relating to Him and others in love, no matter what we are experiencing.
