"Defy & Defeat The Counsel of Heaven" Genesis 10-12, Matthew 4

Interesting how the conversation changes when a lawyer is in the
midst.  Britt just graduated from law school and words are a different bent as we share.  And this Genesis 11:4---Let us build ourselves a city.  A high tower.  A signal to all that we are staying put.  Making a name for ourselves.  No emigration.  In my own pursuit of ambition, I am going to support your pride, your courage to defy and defeat the counsel of heaven.  No matter that you are in contempt of court---contempt of the Divine Will of God, contempt of the counsel of Noah.  Do we do the same?  Build for ourselves.  Idols.  Signposts.  Ambition. There was a life decision made on our part to pursue ambition---God never intended for anyone to live attached to their own ambition. Castles crumble.

Do we provoke to love and encourage or do we provoke to advance in ambition?  Only live by the every Word out of the mouth of God.  Matt. 4:4.
