October 9 "Even Churches Grow Cold" Acts 18

Paul left Athens and went to Corinth. You would think that one of the greatest philosophers, one of the greatest preachers, would be welcomed with wide open arms. There was little fruit in Athens. And even here, Paul's listeners grew cold. So he went to those Gentiles who were wide open. And he kept on working, making tents---even when he could have had the maintenance of the church, the gifts from those he ministered to. He didn't stop. I know of a man just like him. I'm married to him. When churches grew cold; when givers stopped giving; when things fell apart. He moved on. With head held high. Psalm 3:3
