September 4 "Go Your Way" John 4
"The man believed the word that Jesus had spoken to him and he went on his way." John 4:50 He was a nobleman with a very sick son. He came to Cana because he heard the word of others. Even the greatest of men becomes a beggar. Even noblemen hold no secret pass, no security over safety. Only God can word a miracle. "Go your way," says Jesus, so tenderly And now his faith has to go beyond what he can see. A trust in aid with no longer a aign of His Presence. And his faith was so strengthened. And a whole family ends up believing. Wonder if Houstonians feel that way sitting in Hurricane Harvey. Can we trust the Word that has been spoken to us? Tonight, I trust this Tender Word.
