Dear Children, The Lord says here in these verses that it is God who blesses you. Not man and earthly things. The Lord, Jehovah. Three times. Father, Son, Holy Spirit. I could not want more for you this day than God blessing you. A collective gasp. The Lord bless you and keep you. And make His Face shine on you like the white-hot afternoon sun bringing warmth and new life. Sitting in Galveston remembering a beach trip when y'all were elementary kids. Seagulls swooping down. Sun beaming all around. A day when all things seemed right as kids. May all things seem right all grown and trusting. Lean strong. Your mom is still trying.
