Expect God to do so much more in you.
Be Encouraged this Thanksgiving
for what He has already done.
"I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." Eph 3:18-19. Matthew Henry says that Paul gives us a "fixed sense of the love of God" in these verses above. He goes on to say: The breadth shows how far God's love extends to all nations and to all ranks and to all colors. The length stretches from everlasting to everlasting to everlasting. The depth of His Love rescues those sunk deep into depths of sin and misery. The height of that love raises us up to "heavenly happiness and glory." Why would I want anything other than God's Love to rule my heart?
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory . . . Eph 3:20
