This is what the Sovereign Lord says to you.
I will search for you and find you. You will be rescued!
And how many times does God say "it's me, the Sovereign Lord,
Over you. Under you. In you.
The leaders have failed the people.
God is always present for us. The Good Shepherd.
Those who are scattered in despair and darkness of exile both then and now.
Maybe we are held captive by our families, our friends, our ministries.
The Good Shepherd will bring us back home and care for us.
And the Limburg commentary says in the last verse that
we will be "fed with justice. That's for the powerless!
Someone truly cares for me!
DEAR GOD, PLEASE CHANGE ME IN MY WANDERING 10,000 MOMENTS OF BEING SCATTERED TO THE FOUR WINDS. Let me stop long enough to be caught. Oh! To be rescued from myself!
