January 7 "Love You More" Genesis 22-24

God Himself will provide in the midst of the most impossible. God says to Abraham "Go kill your son ... every word here is a sword in his bones; the trial is steel'd with trying phrases." John Wesley. And he goes on to say: When Abraham left his country: then it appeared that he loved God better than his father; now, he loved God better than his son.   

"It is said to this day, 
“On Yahweh’s mountain, it will be provided.” Genesis 22:14

DEAR GOD, PLEASE CHANGE US IN ONE OF OUR TEN THOUSAND LITTLE MOMENTS. Oh Jehoveh-Jireh! Open our eyes to see Your Provision in the mountains we must climb. The steeled trials we must wear. The piercings of our hearts. May we love You more.
