February 8 "I Die Daily" Exodus 28-29

God says to these nomads wandering in a wilderness.  Exodus 29:42  "I will meet with you, to speak to you there."  Thank you, God, for meeting us in our wilderness.  For speaking to us in the midst of the messes that we are in.  It seems to me that my world does not want me to suffer nor fear nor lose.  But I do all three.  It's like there's something wrong with me if everything isn't all right.  God continues to bring me to the end of myself.  Paul said it:  "I die daily."  "And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell among them.  God delivered them to a wilderness.  And it is in this wilderness in which we sit that we will find this Mighty One.

COME BOLDLY:  Timeless Prayers
Father, You see where we sit this morning.  You know what we face.  How can we embrace Your Grace?  How can I let you have more of me in my own wilderness?  How can I let go of what I love that is controlling me?  Meet with me.  Speak with me.

PHOTO:  I put on my earphones and walked through this wilderness singing at the top of my voice.  Music does something deep in my soul.
