We are reading through the Bible chronologically this year, adding devotions from Come Boldly: Timeless Daily Encouragements on Prayer that with go with our week's Scripture readings. One of the devotions that matches our reading in Genesis this week is:
Genesis 49:18 on Page 251 - "A Time to Pray" from Wesley Duewel:
"There are few instant answers in matters of spiritual importance." (excerpt from Touch the World Through Prayer). No quick fixes. Sometimes a century of waiting.
