Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good.
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love;
give preference to one another in honor;
not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer,
contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.
This isn't a religion where you check off the boxes or search for the best answers of what works in a given situation. This is all about letting The Spirit of God advocate and intercede for us. Where we fall short, God offers forgiveness not condemnation.
PRAYER FROM PSALMS
It's winter in my heart. A very cold chapter, O God. You made the setting sun above to govern the day and your Love endures. You make this waning moon at my back to govern this cold night. Help me endure by Your Great Love!
