Rev 16:9 ~ They did not repent and give Him Glory.
Rev 16:15 ~ "Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen
exposed!” ... And they assembled at the place called Armageddon. I stood on that hill one year ago witnessing the past Bethlehem days, the present moment of Jerusalem journeys, and the future battle that will be fought at that spot. Only one place in the world where you can stand in the past, the present, and the future.
Am I truly awake this Christmas morn? There are ways I am more awake than ever. Awake to see the control I wield on my life. Awake to see what pierces my heart and yours. Awake to sin but alive to God. My eyes sometimes see things that people gloss over. What will I do with that? Repent and give Him Glory
Dead to sin. Alive to God. No other way this Christmas Day. Awake, o my soul, and learn from the past, live in the present, and long for the future. Groan inward. Hope forward.
Merry Christmas! I've been without electronic anything for 24 hours. So, may I wish you a Merry Christmas as you close your day. May the food you shared, the fellowship you cared, the fun you fared, produce good within. For it doesn't matter what happened to us today---and I think we all could give a scenario or two that we'll have to keep on processing and let go---what matters is what we walked away with that is going on in our hearts. May we humble ourselves before the Good Hand of our Good God and receive Mercy for this present hour. God bless each one of you---may you want nothing more as you put away your presents or lack thereof, nothing more than the Nearness of Your God!~
