Read with me cover-to-cover in 2025. Start the Old & New Testaments together on January 1. About 3 chapters per day. About 15 minutes of your day. Join us as the axe of Biblical Love thaws the frozen parts (66LL) in our hearts. My focus in 2025 is counseling yourself from the Word. We average 60,000 thoughts per day. Take courage. Talk to yourself from Truth. I am more emotional and pensive and overly-sensitive than most. I need to know how to truly live.

Hebrews 10:15 - "The Spirit of God Says NO MORE" (November 13)
Hebrews 10:15 It is the Holy Spirit that tells us that the Law of God will be written on our minds and hearts. The Holy Spirit whose Words blow every which way we do not know. Come Holy Spirit, blow gentle words on us this day. And the Holy Spirit adds: "I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more."

I am running or walking in the Race for the Cure this morning. I read the stories they published in a Special 12-page Section of our newspaper. They scared the fire out of me. Seemed like every story read: The doctors said "Don't Worry" about your lump, you're fine. I heard those words last month. Two new tiny tumors and they told me not to worry about it. My oncologists are not suspicious. I am. But wait, NO MORE. Do I live from report to report? Or do I fully live? Embrace this moment and all that is going on? So, I'll walk and I'm sure a few tears will drop in this race as I wrestle with a very Good God Who is always doing me good. I am already hopefully cured. Mrs. Hopeful
ReplyDeleteBev, praying for you as you run/walk this morning. May the tears you shed be healing tears and tears that draw you closer to Him. That is what I am thankful for this 13th day of giving thanks....tears....all kinds of tears.
ReplyDeleteI had written a post and then lost it through my own fault. So, to me that means what I wrote was from me to Him and not for public viewing. I did want you to know Bev that I prayed for you and what I was thankful for today. I've posted each day this month something I was thankful for. I'm also doing a Journal of 1000+ Gifts and I'm up to a little over 1100. Good things and things that are hard but things that I am thankful for. One day when I was down, I went back and counted my blessings one by one and I was raised back up. Thanking God for you Bev and for His word and His Holy Spirit that washes over us...still blows me away and I can not grasp it at ALL.
One thing we always can give thanks for--I am forgiven.
ReplyDeleteThe Holy Spirit declares I will remember their sins no more.
"No more" is a prayer that I pray often ..."In Jesus' Name, no more ___. " Today, I pray for you, Bev, for no more sickness, for a sweet infilling of His peace, for His Spirit to wisp you away in thoughtful prayer and a knowing that you are safe, you are blessed, you are not a statistic to Him, but His beloved daughter.
Mary Lou, your days of thankfulness on FB are blessing me, and today's caught me up. Could I pray thanks for the tears? I love your heart for Him.
Sunday blessings, Pearls. You magnify Him.
One word pushes through this holy doctrine...
ReplyDeleteSECURE
"10And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all."
Whatever we go through we can be sure that our salvation is secure. Not because of what we have done, but because of what CHRIST HAS DONE.
Can we dare rejoice today in the tears?
ReplyDeleteI cried today with my niece over the phone. Her dog, Baby, had to be put to sleep. But as we cried, we were so thankful for the time he was a part of her life. This pet comforted the whole family after my nephew passed away. He would come and lay his head on my sister's lap and just sit there with her. How did he know how much grief was hidden deep in her soul after her son died? I have no idea. But Baby sensed her sorrow and just sat at her feet.
Bev, we sit at your feet tonight. We share in all the unknowns and we feel your challenge to walk boldly by faith. May the blood of Jesus sanctify us all in completeness THIS day. There will always be enough for each day. He has made the provision for us...
