I Tim 1:18 "Wage Good Warfare" (November 13)

I am so "taken" with the God of Daniel and how He helped Daniel face his exile.  This prisoner-of-war spent his 90 years or so in Babylon, a prisoner-exile and a political prophet.  Daniel knew about "first things" first.  Honoring his God.  Not the practice of kneeling 3 times a day but the purpose behind it:  Daniel honored the God Who gave him breath.  Never shrinked back, even without his parents.  No family support there.  He was of those who had faith ~ Heb 10:39.  Waiting Quietly on his God ~ Lam 3:26 ~ whether it was for God to shut the mouths of lions or quell the kings that threatened.  Daniel was wise and shined like the brightness of the stars above ~ Dan 12:3.  Alone, in a lot of ways, but Never Alone.

Wage Good Warfare.
Hold Faith.
Hold a Good Conscience.
I Timothy 1:18

From the days of old, the Ancient of Days sees and knows and offers more than you now know.
Someone once wrote:  the Gospel has eyes that see right through and beckon...
Am I fighting the right battles?  Am I waging good warfare?
